WHY WE DID IT!
Ahoy there,
We here at Captain HooX have a passion for creative audio. It gives us the opportunity to express the world around us — a world that is forever changing and evolving. We see the challenges and blatant struggles so many of us are facing during these times. There is so much to say, and so much that needs to be said, and that's what drives us with music. How do you convey to ALL of your community the frustrations some are going through and all are feeling?
We decided to do it through one of our creations. A work in progress since November of last year — we took a solid march pattern, mixed in an entire barrel of rhythmic entities with multiple voices, let it simmer in a full vat of frustration and political fatigue, and topped it off with fat-free TRUTH! People are hungry for positive change, and it's time to eat!
